I was having gout flare-ups before bupropion, but seems they increased in frequency while I have been taking it. I stopped taking the med for about 2 months and didn’t have any gout issues.
But, I have also made some other changes during the same time period (no sushi, some weight loss) so it’s always hard to pin down what is helping. If you ever find any info on a relationship between gout and bupropion , let me know. I haven’t been able to find much.
