No sex
Those who are diagnosed must not have sex until they get fully recovered from the infection. Any sex during the time may spread the bacteria infection to partner.
Use of condom during sex prevents the spread of PID infection causing bacteria and also curtails the possibility of other sexual diseases like HIV.
Rest
Take more rest when infected with PID, More rest will increase your immunity against the disease and also lower the pain that occurs in the situation.
NSAIDs
Over-the-counter available Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs or NSAIDs like ibuprofen provide for fast removal of PID caused pain. You can take regular doses of the medication 2 or 3 times during a day for a maximum of 2 or 3 days. If the situation does not improve then you must contact the doctor.
