Clean the wound at first:cleaning the wound

Later let it dry and tap it with a dry and clean cloth. Apply a thick coat of antiseptic cream or petroleum jelly or any ointment or moisturizing cream to keep the skin smooth. Cover it with a bandage or cotton for dressing the wound. Change the dressing frequently in order to heal the wound faster.
