As you have diabetes, one possible cause of an increased urine albumin is diabetic nephropathy, or kidney disease.

Several factors can cause higher than expected urinary microalbumin results, such as: certain medications, fever, recent vigorous exercise, urinary tract infection, other kidney diseases.

Consult nephrologist early and get evaluated.

Here are few tips:

Eat a well-balanced diet of fresh produce, grains, nuts, beans and lean forms of protein to stay nourished and protect your kidneys. Take low protein diet.

Reduce your table salt intake.

Manage your weight.

Stay away from alcohol.

Drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Fill turmeric powder in 00-size capsules, and take 2 capsules 3 times a day, a few minutes before meals.
