In most cases, a referral from your family doctor or psychiatrist is necessary to be admitted to a program. You may need to talk to your health insurance company to find out if your insurance will cover this treatment and how much of the cost they will cover.
Residents of Canada should note that these intensive OCD treatment programs are often covered by provincial health insurance plans.
