its hard palate or soft palate?
Mostly it is due to canker sores which is also called apthous ulcers-it is a small, painful ulcer. Sometime the palate pain is the result of sinusitis too. Rule out the cause and treat.
Rinse mouth several times a day with a little aloe vera juice.
