Sphygmomanometer is a device to measure blood pressure.
There are three types of sphygmomanometers:
first is manual which is used in hospital and is ideal to check B.P.
second is digital portable finger blood pressure monitors and it is smallest blood pressure monitors.
third is digital with manual or automatic inflation, it is electronic and easy to operate.
sphygmomanometer device is used for checking blood pressure.
by auscultation systolic and diastolic pressure can be measured.
by palpation or visualization of pulse distal to the sphygmomanometer is used to detect systolic pressure.
