Have alkaline foods.
Include green leafy vegetables, wheatgerm, asparagus, oats, cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, watermelon, muskmelon, bananas.
Avoid food rich in uric acid like meat, shellfish and chicken. Also avoid food rich in protein, including red meat and string beans, coconuts, dairy products, alcohol, aerated drink like coke, citrus fruit and refrigerated foods.
Eat cherries and drink cherry juice. Also, blueberries, strawberries, fresh or frozen pineapple. (vitamin C)
