I have a dog bite on my finger with broken skin at the cuticle area. It is mildly red and there is some inflammation and tenderness. I have been putting antibiotic ointment and a bandage on for three days. Trying to avoid cellulitis and antibiotics.
Go to the doctor and get a series of rabies shots to prevent the rabies virus from infecting you.
