Over-the-counter saline nasal drops can be used to loose the mucous-filled nose. Also you can try steam inhalation with a few drops of eucalyptus oil or vicks to clear a stuff nose.

Here are few tips:

  • Use a cool mist humidifier.
  • Place a few drops of saline nasal drops for stuffy nose.
  • Keep baby well-hydrated by continuing to breastfeed or drink baby formula.
  • Give a pain or fever reliever if baby seems fussy such as acetaminophen (Tylenol)
