The most common side effect is breakthrough bleeding. About 60% of women have no side effects at all, and the vast majority of those who do, have only minor effects. Side effects include nausea, vomiting, increases in blood pressure, facial skin discoloration, increased vaginal secretions, reductions in menstrual flow, breast tenderness, weight gain, increase cholesterol levels in bile and decrease gallbladder movement, which can lead to gallstone.

Weight gain, increased yeast infections, lighter periods.
