penicillin ## I have recently been prescribed Penicillin Vk 500 mg from a doctor. I was in SO much pain from my peridontal disease,(from my infection under my teeth), that the pain was excruciating. i went to an emergency hospital instead of a dentist. I have looked up this medication and it describes this certain medication to be used for throat, not an infection.
