what is the cure for central retinal artery ocullision

Respected ir

My sister is congenital heart patient. Her left eye was operated for retinal detachment on 17th Nov.2009.Suddenly vision of her right eye has been lost on 18th Jan. 2011. Kindly advise whether vision of her right eye can be restored and what options are available for this purpose.

Thanking you

The retinal artery occlusion may last for only a few seconds or minutes, or it may be permanent. The health care provider should look for the cause of the blockage. Blockages may be signs of a life-threatening medical problem.
People with blockages of the retinal artery may not get their vision back.
